Thoughts of Acrobatics Teacher Su Qun Participating in the Martial Arts Acrobatic Drama "The Legendary Swordsman"

I have been an acrobatics teacher for ten years, and I finally have the opportunity to show myself to the audience in the form of the martial arts acrobatic drama "The Legendary Swordsman", in which the acrobats trained by me play leading roles and the acrobatic programs they carry out are the core acrobatics of the drama. I am quite excited and happy.

Since the start of rehearsal, teachers feel that every day is very pressing. They must pay close attention to training in a limited time. They all hope that their programs can reach the best skill level and are presented in the best state. Students will encounter difficulties and generate uneasy emotions during the training process. As a teacher, I must talk to students in a timely manner to solve problems, overcome difficulties, and meet the director's artistic requirements as much as possible; at the same time, I need to develop new props to adapt to new action and skill. Although training is very hard every day, teachers and acrobats try to make self-adjustment. The teachers also participate in the role performance of the drama while teaching the skills. This requires us to understand the script and the characteristics of the roles being played, and actively cooperate with the director's concept to bring the characters in the plot to life.
